This position has full Profit and Loss accountability and is responsible for establishing, monitoring and influencing all aspects of state growth and performance; directing the analysis, development and management of all pricing and underwriting strategies; identifying, tracking and responding to changes in the market, including regulatory issues, legislative issues and competitive practices; and coordinating activity between various home office departments. Tremendous control and huge influence in this highest-level Product Development position.

Director of Product Analysis - Personal Lines - Boston or Seattle
Under minimal direction and often independently identifies complex trends and issues in assigned states and country wide, collaborates to set state-level and product line strategies, and leads implementation of changes to address issues. Implements complex adaptations of country wide initiatives and conducts other analyses to support strategic direction of assigned states. Leads cross functional teams thru the development and/or implementation of a new product or other CW initiatives.. May be involved in product line/distribution channel production and profit planning. Presents state reviews, other analyses and results of country wide initiatives to Directors of State Operations, Product SVPs, and Chief Product Officer. Has a group of Product Analysts directly reporting to position.

Head of Strategy, Analytics & P&L
Due to significant growth, our personal lines business unit is looking to hire a head of strategy and analytics to oversee our property division. This is a highly visible strategic role in which you will lead and manage a 75+ person operation.
In this role, you will partner with members of the leadership team within claims and across other functions (such as product, actuarial, marketing, and sales) to identify, evaluate and address internal and external issues of strategic importance to the claims operation as relates to the Property line of business. You will manage full P&L of this unit and manage a team that is responsible for in-depth analysis to help identify and develop strategic initiatives to improve loss costs. You will work with senior management to set benchmarks and evaluate the performance of new products, programs, and tools in support of the property claims line of business.
